The 2013 Buddy Walk®, held in September, was a great success. Families and other supporters from across the Tri-Cities, West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina gathered to enjoy a day of fun and community. Our annual one-mile event raised over $37,000, which will be used to support our local chapter as well as the National Down Syndrome Society (Link). Our special guests Chris Burke with Joe and John DeMasi (Chris's website) were a delight and they made the event extra special this year.
Watch Video of Chris, Joe and John as they perform at our Speaker Supper the evening before our walk.
