Celebrate 3-21

3-21 Day, designated by the United Nations as World Down Syndrome Day, occurs on March 21st and serves to “help raise awareness of what Down syndrome is, what it means to have Down syndrome, and how people with Down syndrome play a vital role in our lives and communities.” (World Down Syndrome Day website). You can participate in our regional event in Coeburn Virginia, held annually at Ringley Park. Follow our scheduled events through our Facebook page or visit our upcoming events to learn the details of our next 3-21 Day celebration.

“Diversity may be the hardest thing for a society to live with, and perhaps the most dangerous thing for a society to be without.”
― William Sloane Coffin, Jr.
